Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold in the team competitions along with the floor exercises. For the balance beam Raisman earned the bronze medal. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to win the highest number of medals at the Olympics. Her gold medal in the Olympics in 2016 was her second consecutive gold for the US team. She was, and fellow teammate Gabby - the first Americans - to achieve this feat. Also, silver medals were awarded for the all-around competition and floor exercises. Three years had passed between her last appearance in competition gymnastics. Her gold medal winning American team also took home 2 World Championships. Her favorite event is the floor workout. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years older. Aly has enrolled in her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. Her future goals include expanding her trademark line of leotards. She's writing a book titled Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
